Tupou is another of the club’s code switching recruits and returns to rugby after several seasons in the NRL system where he was an up and coming star.
A member of the 2007 Australian Schoolboys rugby side before trying his hand at league as an 18 year old, Tupou spent two years with the Broncos development squad before moving to the North Queensland Cowboys where he burst onto the scene in 2010 with a match winning try.
A versatile back who is able to play in the centres and on the wing, the youngster is expected to quickly make the transition into Super Rugby and will be an asset in attack as well as defence.
