ARU/RugbyWA Actions for a New Club
In addition to the incorporation requirments of the Western Australian government the ARU & RugbyWA require the following steps to be taken with regards to starting a new club:
- Contact RugbyWA in the initial phases to discuss:
- Feasibility of the club
- RugbyWA support
- Likely competition level and zone (if country based)
- Number of games intended to be played each year
- Once Incorporation has been granted by DOCEP notify RugbyWA of this and request affiliation to RugbyWA.
- Fill out and return the required ARU forms to give your club the necessary insurance cover and access to the MyRugby Admin database for registration and club information.
