Francois van Wyk returned part way through the 2016 Super Rugby season after suffering a wrist injury in the pre-season and went on to play eight matches before the injury curse struck again when injured his knee in the warm up against the Brumbies in the final game of the season. Entering his fourth year with the Road Safety Western Force the 25-year-old loosehead prop is a powerful scrummager and diligent worker across the park and after working his way back from injury will be determined to stay fit and push for further opportunities at Super Rugby level in 2017.
