21-year-old prop Jermaine Ainsley rose through the RugbyWA ranks culminating in a break out maiden Super Rugby season in 2016. The tighthead represented the Western Australian Under 20’s and the Force ‘A’ team before a standout season with Nedlands saw him earn place in the Perth Spirit squad. Rewarded with a training spot with the Road Safety Western Force for the 2016 season Ainsley debuted in Round One against the Melbourne Rebels. After earning nine Super Rugby caps Ainsley was a key member of the Spirit’s Buildcorp NRC title winning side. Having turned down the Highlanders and Chiefs to sign on until 2018, the Sea of Blue can look forward to more quality performances from the young front rower.
