Kane Koteka burst onto the Asteron Life Super Rugby scene in 2015 immediately making a name for himself as one the country’s most promising young backrowers. Koteka is the first talented youngster the graduate from the Future Force program to become a fully contracted member of the Road Safety Western Force. The Wests Scarborough product made his Asteron Life Super Rugby debut off the bench against the Hurricanes at nib Stadium in Round Three and went on to play 10 matches in his debut season on his way to collecting the club Rookie of the Year Award. After getting a taste for the top level last season Koteka is raring to sink his teeth into the 2016 season.

2016
Plays one match for the Force. Captains Wests to Pindan Premier Grade title and Western Force 10s to World Club 10s Championship. Plays four matches for the Perth Spirit including the Grand Final.
2015
Made his Super Rugby debut against the Hurricanes at nib Stadium. Played 10 matches in a break-out season, taking out the Western Force’s Rookie of the Year Award along with Ryan Louwrens.
2014
Joins the Future Force program. Is selected in WA Under 20s side and subsequent Combined States side. Was a standout performer for the Perth Spirit in the Buildcorp NRC playing every match before a shoulder injury ruled him out of the grand final.
2013
After standout performances for club and state teams was selected to represent Force ‘A’.
2012
Is selected to represent Perth Gold.
2011
Selected for the WA Schoolboys.
