After making his debut in 2015, Ross Haylett-Petty enjoyed a breakout season for the Road Safety Western Force in 2016 playing 13 matches and establishing himself a regular in starting team with 10 appearances in the second row alongside Adam Coleman. The 23-year-old made his impact felt last season thanks to his powerful ball running, good offloading ability and love for contact. The Cottesloe product and former Australian Under 20’s representative stellar season was recognised when he took out the club’s Rising Star Award. Haylett-Petty was huge for the Perth Spirit in their charge to the Buildcorp NRC title Haylett-Petty is primed for the best season of his young career in 2017.

Represents the Force A; represents Western Australia in the Combined States Under 20s; selected in the Australian Under 20 side for the IRB Junior World Championships in New Zealand, starting in every match and scoring a try in the 29-3 win over Italy; plays two matches with the Perth Spirit; signs with the Western Force as an Extended Playing Squad member
